100 Trillion dollar bill cost./Soccer ball

by JC
(NJ, USA)

Hi We will be in Vic. Falls in August.
Two questions:
1)What is the best way to obtain the 100 trillion dollar bill as a souvenir? and how much should we pay for it?

2)We will be visiting a village and would like to bring a soccer (football) for the children. Can one be obtained in Vic Falls? If not, where would we inflate one that we carried in?

Thanks JC

Zimbabwe currency and soccer balls

Hi JC

In answer to your questions:

1) Just wander around the town center, along Livingstone Way or Parkway (see map) and you will be approached by street vendors who will be trying to sell you some of the old Zim currency of that I can guarantee you. US$5 to $10 should buy you a full set of the different notes.

2) I would bring your own football along, it would not be easy to buy something like that in the Falls. You can get it inflated at one of the garages, again see the map, they have compressors for pumping tyres. Just bring with you the needle to inflate.

I hope that you have a good time
