Is it enaugh with a Zambian visa to enter Victoria Falls?

by rogerdra

Hello!

We are 4 guys from Norway who will take the bus from Windhoek in Namibia to Livingstone in Zambia. From Livingstone we would like to take a day-trip to Victoria Falls. Do we need visa for Zimbabwe then?

After we have seen the falls, we will return to Livingstone in Zambia (the same day).

Thank you!

You will need a Zimbabwe Visa
by: Tony

Hi Rogerdra

Unfortunately your Zambian visa does not count for Zimbabwe and if you want to come across to the Zimbabwe side you will have to purchase a single entry visa which will cost you US$30 each and you can buy this at the border post.

Despite the cost I highly recommend that you visit the Zimbabwe side as 80% of the Victoria Falls are in Zimbabwe. There are several other questions in this section about the difference between the two countries, I recommend that you read them.
