Mozzies and Malaria

Hi Vani

Thank for your question and sorry for the delayed response. I have just copied below what I have told you in another faq that you posted. Also look at this page on our website. About Malaria
Mozzies are unseasonally terrible at the moment( Oct 2011), really really bad. So malaria tablets definitely advisable as it is a malaria zone. You can chance it and then just make sure you watch out for the signs once you get home in about 14 days. Any slight signs of headache or fever rush to your doctor and explain that you have been in a malaria zone.
Malaria is quite treatable as long as you catch it early. Residents in the Falls don't take prophylactics as they cant be on them all the time.
Not all prophylactics have bad side effects. Tablets like mefliam taken once a week give me no side effects when I have taken them before.
