Winter 2011 has now come to Zimbabwe.
It is very evident with the indigenous vegetation; the lovely autumn shades are out and there is defiantly a nip in the air first thing in the morning and by sunset the winter woolies are out.
A definite carpet of dew covers the lawns and cars in the early morning clearly indicating that winter has come.
Just to update you all on what’s happening at the Sprayview Hotel, Victoria Falls.
Some of you may know that we are under new management and have been for the past 23 months, with this new Team lots of fresh and wonderful ideas have been introduced to this establishment, uplifting the atmosphere, food and general appears of the hotel.
As most of you are already aware the hotel’s layout is “Motel Style” which is absolutely perfect for the self-drives, over-Landers and stop over’s for folks with trailers, boats and caravans, the spacious secure car park easily accommodates your vehicles and accessories. For peace of mind you can park your car directly outside your rooms, this also helps when unpacking your vehicles into your rooms.

In order to make your stay with us more comfortable, we have had to address the issue of DSTV, we have introduced televisions in 10 of our rooms ranging from Dbls, Twins, Family rooms and Inter-leading covering and affording everyone an opportunity and the option of with television or not.
All our rooms are en-suite offering both showers and bath tubs, with private entrance to each unit and French doors leading onto a private patio, over looking our well establish gardens and large sparkling swimming pool.
The bedrooms are spacious with tea/coffee stations in each room, this is a lovely idea for those who love to get up at the crack of dawn, welcoming the day in slowly with a hot cup of tea or coffee, watching the sun-rise in a peaceful and tranquil environment, hot beverage in hand, some may need several cups of tea/coffee prior to facing the busy day ahead of them.
Full buffet English breakfast is served from 7 – 9.30 a.m.
Thereafter, light pool deck meals are served through-out the day for those who wish to have a snack, or there is an a’la cart menu to appease the hungry, offering Game meats & croc. (For the more adventures) for the less adventures, on offer are lovely home-styled meals, ranging from pastas, steaks and fish, cooked to order. Vegetarian Meals are also addressed; our wonderful friendly staff is always keen to assist with your every need and to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
We also serve quite a variety of wines with your meals, by the glass or bottle.
We are fully licensed, you have the choice of two bars, “The Rainforest Bar” which is also a great venue for private functions, as well as a friendly game of darts. Any group that may have booked an extra activity with one of our numerous in house agents may wish to few their tailor made DVD, capturing them on camera, braving the white water rapids or walking with the lions. This is the ideal venue.
The alternative is a lovely formal, attractive bar, the infamous “Ceasar’s Bar” known for its very quaint attractive railway station styled décor, our friendly barman are always available to quench your thirst, whether it be a delicious cocktail made to order, cold beer of your choice or a stiff short to ward off the cold.
Both bars have televisions for the sportsman at heart, who needs to keep in touch with his team!! or the businessman who needs to know the latest news.
Our tranquil pool area draws guests from all walks of life sharing their wonderful “African Experiences” over a snack, glass of wine or a cold beer, while our friendly chefs prepare the evening meals.
Dinners are served either on our Al’ fresco or Carlo’s restaurants, between (18.30 – 21.30hrs).
Room service is offered in the privacy of your room or out on your pvt. Patio.

For the guest who needs to keep in touch and tune with their families back home or their office, we have Internet/ broad band.
Extra Activities can be addressed by anyone of our In-House agents, transfers to and from Airports as well as inter hotel transfers can be arranged to ferry you to and from any venue within the falls.
All that is left now is for us to Welcome you to our wonderful family owned and run establishment, our rates are very competitive and friendly, we do not have a dual tariffs, one price to suite all pockets.
