TOUR OF THE FALLS

We are going to Vic Falls in December. Is it necessary to go on a guided tour of the falls or can one find one's way easily on one's own.

It is not necessary to go on a guided tour, you will be able to easily find your way around. There is a simple set of pathways that take you along the edge of the Falls.
However many people prefer a tour because of the greater understanding a guide can give you on the area.
The guided tour also includes collection and drop off from your hotel so that saves you having to make your own way down there.

it would be interesting to know south africans other people going Zimbabwe in December from 23th December.I will be on a family vacation there using my timeshare.
