Visa options for Zim-Zam and Botswana

by CE
(USA)

Hello,

I plan to arrive at VFA airport and go straight to Chobe NP for 2 nights, then return to Victoria Falls and do multiple crossings between Zim and Zam.
I have a US passport.
What is the best combination of visas? Single entry on arrival at VFA (before going to Chobe) and then KAZA UNIVISA when re-entering Zimbabwe?
Thanks in advance.

Hi

I have tried to detail this as clearly as possible on our visa pages (https://www.victoriafalls-guide.net/zimbabwe-visa.html), because it is complicated, now that Zambia no longer requires US passport holders to get a visa. So in theory they are not issuing Kaza Visas to US passport holders.
So yes you should buy a single entry on arrival, then when re-entering Zimbabwe get a double entry. If you are going backwards and forwards between the 2 countries then possibly looking at re-arranging your itinerary.
