Vic Falls and Ilala Lodge

My husband and i are just back from a short stay at the Ilala lodge Victoria Falls and oh how we wish it could have been longer, firstly the hotel itself is superb its so close to the falls the rooms are a good size and the pool area is splendid we had it to ourselves, the breakfasts are great, there is an excellent evening and lunchtime menu too, and you can organize excursions from the hotel, we did a trip on the zambesi river it was excellent the staff cant do enough for you.

Just remember to take american dollars with you as the hotel do not accept credit cards but i believe that may be changing just check before you go.

we felt very safe going out and about and the falls themselves were fabulous better than niagra.
