Starting on Friday 13th September, Livingstone will be abuzz with the first ever Livingstone Sports Festival, which will kick off with a visit from the Litunga of Barotseland, His Royal Highness Lubosi Imwoko II.
This is only the third time in history that the king of the Lozi will visit Livingstone, and a traditional ceremony will be performed on this day.

On Saturday, the 5th International Regatta will start the sports festival off, with notable international rowers - the highlight being Oxford Alumni vs Cambridge Alumni vs South Africa, plus a gala at the fabulous Royal Livingstone Hotel that evening.
River cruise tickets are on sale on the event website for the two days so you can enjoy the festivities whilst on the Zambezi River.
The following weekend's events from the 21st of September will include a trail run, Rugby matches including Zambia vs Zimbabwe invitational, Soccer match between ZESCO Victoria Falls and ZAF Blue Arrows football clubs, and ends on Sunday 22nd with a Mountain Bike off-road challenge.
