Declare money on arrival
by: Tony

We have phoned the Zimbabwe revenue authority and have confirmed from them that tourists can bring in an unlimited amount of cash, but you need to declare how much you are bringing in when you arrive.
When leaving, the maximum they can export is US$2000. You will need to prove that you brought the US$2000 into the country via your declaration form that you completed on arrival.
So in essence if you want to take the money out again, you can only bring in US$2000 plus what you might spend while in Zimbabwe.

Hope that helps and makes sense
