Victoria Falls Hotel and Victoria Falls Safari Suites

by Janet, John and Ann

Hi Stacey

Sorry it has taken me over a month to report back to you on our holiday! I just wanted to let you know we all had a fabulous time and the arrangements made by you were all perfect. We absolutely loved both the V F Hotel and the V F Safari Suites. It made a nice contrast to stay in two such different hotels. Your company is without doubt one of the most informative, friendly, helpful & efficient I have ever come across. Your website is brilliant and I have already recommended you to a few friends interested in visiting Vic Falls and will continue to do so. I hope you get some business from it and continue to go from strength to strength!

A few points:
VIC FALLS HOTEL:
Gorgeous hotel, magnificent setting. Service a bit slow & not terribly efficient but the hotel makes up for it.
You booked us into Deluxe rooms at a lower rate than we could book through the internet. Beautiful rooms, we had a super view of the bridge, far better than the Standard rooms we would have booked ourselves.
The Junction dinner was fine but not outstanding. Typical buffet fare but a worthwhile experience in a lovely setting. The dancers were enthusiastic and entertaining but not nearly the standard of the show 40 years ago.
Perfect location for the Falls using the path from the hotel. On your recommendation we went to the Lookout Café for lunch on the way back. Superb setting! Great advice!
Dinner Cruise. Brilliant! Excellent food, service, setting. Couldn’t fault anything. Saw lots of other dinner cruises and all agreed ours was the best.
VIC FALLS SAFARI SUITES:
Excellent accommodation. Lovely hotel in superb setting. Excellent service. Only negative the second bedroom is very small, fine for kids but quite a squeeze for adults with suitcases.
Please let people know about the FREE beer & wine stocked in the Villa. We stopped on the way to buy beer for my husband but it wasn’t necessary. Very impressed with that little extra!
MaKuwa Restaurant – Best dinner of the holiday! World class! The ellies at the waterhole were a bonus.
The Hide – Highly recommended for birders.
The Boma – Obviously very touristy and another so-so buffet but definitely a good experience. Loved the drumming and ‘African Village’ atmosphere. Dancing not great but enthusiastic.
We would definitely go back to both hotels and would recommend them. We hope we get the opportunity sometime in the future!
