Appalling Catastrophe
by Don King
(Kennerleigh, DEVON, UK)
After spending most of my adult life in Rhodesia and then Zimbabwe I know this would be an appalling catastrophe.
Apart from anything else the countries the seaway is supposed to benefit do not have the infrastructure or experience to manage such a colossal product and have demonstrated remarkably cavalier attitudes to protecting the planet, wilderness areas and wildlife. Shareholders, government ministers and officials and the contractors will be the only ones to benefit at an enormous cost to the well being of local people and wildlife. Donald King 01363 866560
