Table Mountain Cable Car

Table Mountain is Africa's Leading Tourist Attraction and arguably the most popular destination in South Africa. In the first part of this tour, ascend in a cable car that gradually reveals breathtaking landscapes, the cityscape, and the vastness of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Then immerse yourself in some history, culture, and cuisine in the vibrant city of Cape Town.

The cable car ride takes a mere five minutes from the bottom to the top, where you'll step out of the station and find yourself amidst the splendor of Table Mountain. Numerous viewing points offer unique and picturesque opportunities for your camera. During the tour, you'll delve into the rich history of Cape Town, Table Mountain, and the surrounding areas, including the prominent Lion's Head Mountain and the historically significant Robben Island, visible from the mountain's peak.

Malay Quarter (Bo-Kaap)

After an unforgettable experience atop Table Mountain, you'll head back to the cable car for a smooth descent and embark on a journey through the enchanting Malay Quarter. Located on Signal Hill, at the heart of Cape Malay culture, this historical tour offers a glimpse into the vibrant and colorful neighborhood while sharing the crucial history of how the Cape Malays became an integral part of South Africa's cultural tapestry.

The Markets

Next, you'll take a tour of the city center, starting with a visit to the bustling Greenmarket Square, where local artisans display their vibrant crafts. Stroll through the more than century-old Adderley Street Flower Market, where the sweet fragrance of blooms fills the air.

Castle of Good Hope

Finally, you'll explore The Castle of Good Hope, the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa, where you can truly immerse yourself in the country's history. The bastion fort is a provincial heritage site and considered the best preserved example of 17th century architecture in the world.

Customer Feedback

Brilliant service and so helpful
by Sally (Blisworth, U.K.)
I stumbled across Victoria Fall Guide by accident, but I am so glad I did. Tony and Boo were so helpful, advising us on the best activities for us as I have mobility issues, and arranging our itinerary and booking everything. I had no worries about using them, or sending a very large payment to someone I didn’t know. Everything they booked for us was so well organised, pick ups on time, knowledgeable and friendly guides, clean transport. We did the walking tour of the falls, the sunset dinner cruise, full day at Chobe, the team, lion encounter and the helicopter and every single one was faultless. We were also due to do the lunar rainbow but unfortunately it was cancelled, however boo arranged the refund immediately. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. We are so grateful to them for making our special holiday even more so.
