The Zambezi River most certainly is rising, and you can see a lot more water coming down the Eastern Cataract on the Zambian side of the Falls (this section of the Falls is generally at a higher elevation than the Zimbabwe side).

Victoria Falls white water rafting has moved to High Water run in both Zambia and Zimbabwe, which begins at Rapid #11 and concludes at Rapid #24. For more on the rafting and the seasons, see our White Water Rafting page.

Above the Victoria Falls, the Devil's Pool will be closed any day now as it will become unsafe to swim during the high water season. Swimming will switch to the Angel's Pool, also on the edge of the waterfall, and just as exciting. Livingstone Island tours will carry on until about April/May (we will keep you updated as the time draws nearer).
