New Rainforest Hours and Night Drives in Victoria Falls
26 September 2018 The Zimbabwe National Parks & Wildlife Management Authority have issued a statement announcing new product opportunities and more opening times for the major parks areas in Victoria Falls, namely the Victoria Falls Rainforest and Zambezi National Park including the Chamabondo area, so that evening game viewing and rainforest entry are now possible. In the Zambezi National Park and Chamabondo, Parks will open the gates for night game drives with your preferred operator. Guides for these drives must have a specific permit for these drives. The evening times for the park and entrance fees are yet to be announced. The Victoria Falls Rainforest will close at the usual times, and then reopen for the evening entry at 7pm daily. The summer and winter times are now as follows: Summer Day - 6H00 to 18H00 Evening - 19H00 to 22H00 Winter Day - 6H30 to 18H00 Evening - 19H00 to 22H00 The evening entrance fees will be: International Visitors - US$ 40 ($20 for children) Zimbabwean Residents - US$10 ($5 for children) During the evening opening times in the rainforest, apart from evening viewing of the falls during full moon days, night bush dinners by the statue of David Livingstone will be offered.
