Pool Refurb Scheduled at Ilala Lodge

Ilala Lodge are, once again embarking on work in an effort to perfect their facilities, by not only resurfacing and modifying the swimming pool, but also adding a plunge pool in the main lodge area.

This means that from 14th January 2019, guests at Ilala Lodge will not be able to use the pool until it is complete - the estimated date of completion has been stated as 28th February 2019. Ilala have said that they will make alternative arrangements for guests who would like access to swimming facilities.

The complete statement by Ilala Lodge sent in my Martin Vaughan is as follows:

"As part of the ongoing enhancements of our hotel, we will be modifying and resurfacing our swimming pool area in 2019.

Modification of the swimming pool area will include resurfacing the deck surrounding the current swimming pool and building an adjoining plunge pool.

Our swimming pool and poolside seating area will be closed from the 14 January to 28 February 2019. Renovation works will take place between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday and guests will be accommodated in rooms away from the refurbishment works.

Alternative arrangements will be made for guests to utilise swimming pools at neighbouring hotels.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to reassure clients that every effort will be made to ensure minimal interference during this short period."
