Zambezi Cycle Challenge 2019 Cancelled
The 2019 edition of the Victoria Falls Cycle Challenge will not be going ahead as planned, the organisers of the event have stated:
After much consideration and with regret, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the 2019 Zambezi Cycle Challenge. The current economic situation has led to many complications and hurdles for the organisation of this event, and we have reached the decision that in the interest of maintaining its good name, it will be best to skip this year. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused by this decision and hope to see you all in 2020 - Zambezi Cycle Challenge Organizers
The Zambezi Cycle Challenge is an annual event with the aim of raising funds for conservation efforts in the Victoria Falls area.
The three day event is demanding but exciting, with cycling routes going through rough wilderness, national parks, along the Zambezi River, and along the gorge downstream from the Victoria Falls. Throw in beautiful scenery and wildlife encounters to top the cake.
