Dinner Cruise

Pickup time is from 4:30pm in winter (May to August) or 5m in the summer (September to April). This is a great way to enjoy the serene Zambezi River on a luxurious boat, and then have a delicious 3-course meal on the river. The boat is on the river for about 3 hours, and the turnaround time is approximately 3.5 hours.

Facts

The boat comes fitted with safety equipment (life jackets, fire extinguishers, floatation devices).

Minimum to confirm a trip: 2 passengers

Maximum capacity: 32 passengers.

Facilities: Bar and plush, cushioned furniture on the top deck; bathrooms on the bottom deck; dining tables and chairs on the lower deck.

Duration: +/- 3.5 hours Minimum and maximum age: none

Included on the Malachite Cruise

• Shared road transfers to and from your accommodation in Victoria Falls town*
• Refresher towel and welcome drink on arrival.
• A four-course dinner (choice of soup, starter, main and dessert).
• Cocktails, imported spirits, beer, wine, water, soft drinks, coffee & tea.

Excludes

• Transfers from AirBnB lodges, out of town lodges and Livingstone town lodges. Additional transfers can be arranged.
• US$10 river usage fee per person.

What to Bring

• Camera and/or binoculars
• Insect repellent
• Travel voucher

What to Wear

• Wear comfortable clothing and sunglasses.
• In summer, light clothes as it can get hot. In winter, bring warm sweater or jacket for the sunrise and sunset cruises as it can get chilly in the early morning and in the evening.

What Not to Bring

• Valuables. Please leave these locked up in a safe at your hotel.
• Anything else that you will not need while on your cruise.

Children

Children are welcome on the Malachite. Those younger than 3 years old do not pay. Children 3 to 11 years pay 50% of the adult rate. Children 6 to 12 years pay US$5 for the river usage fee. Children younger than 6 do not pay the fee.
