Parks Fees Increase for Zimbabweans Reversed

(Victoria Falls)

10 April 2019

Last week, we reported that the national parks entrance fees for Zimbabweans had been increased to about three times what it was. See the article here.

During the monthly National Clean Up day, Vice President of Zimbabwe Kembo Mohadi called for more affordable prices by tour operators in Victoria Falls, particularly for the local tourist. Earlier this week, the Tourism Ministry reversed the Zimbabwe National Parks price increases.

The entrance fee for Zimbabweans into the Victoria Falls rainforest is now back at RTGS$7 and RTGS$10 for those with residence permits. The fees into the Zambezi National Park and river usage fees have gone back to RTGS$5.
