National Parks Fees Increased for Local Zimbabweans

(Victoria Falls)

2 April 2019

For Zimbabwean citizens, the entrance fees to enter the parks have been increased in the local currency. The change was announced last Sunday and seems to be on par with the stipulated US Dollar rate to the Bond or RTGS currency.

The park entrance fee into the Victoria Falls Rainforest has been increased from RTGS$ 7 to RTGS $20. Guests from SADC nations will continue to pay US$ 20 per person per entry, and the international entrance fee also remains at US$ 30 per person per entry.

The entrance fees into the Zambezi National Park has also gone up to RTGS$ 15 from RTGS$ 5. The entrance for foreign visitors remains at US$15 per person.

For Zambezi River cruises, Zimbabweans now pay RTGS$ 15 from RTGS$ 5, while foreign guests will continue to pay the same US$ 10 per person.
