No, this is not an April Fools' joke... Zimbabwe is the latest to make this change in Covid-19 regulations. A few surrounding Southern African countries have removed the need for PCR tests for travellers that are fully vaccinated. Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa changed their regulations earlier this year.
New flights have also been introduced, linking Victoria Falls with other safari destinations such as Hwange National Park (Zimbabwe), Kruger (South Africa), Maun (Botswana) and other countries, namely Namibia and Germany.
We welcome these changes and new links, especially because it makes travel to and within the region so much easier.
