OutPost Africa Lodge was purpose-built only 10 years ago as a commercial Lodge with all the necessary approved plans and licenses.

The lodge is rated in the top four “small” lodges in Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls is a world famous tourist resort and is extremely popular for both local and international visitors. It is on the border with Zambia and near the borders with Botswana and Namibia.

The lodge is located in a quiet area, away from the town centre. The Mighty Victoria Falls are a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk through the town. A variety of activities are available in Victoria Falls including game viewing, white water rafting, elephant rides, walking with lions, gorge swings, bungee jumping and sun downer cruises on the Zambezi River.

Of course, that’s not discounting the amazing Victoria Falls, the most awesome waterfall in Africa and a Natural Wonder of The World. There are regular flights per week from Johannesburg, Harare and Windhoek. Currently, several South African Companies are also strengthening their presence in Victoria Falls.

“THE LODGE”

• The lodge has six rooms with bathroom en-suites (three double rooms and three twin rooms)

• A two Bedroom Self-catering Cottage, constructed with poles and thatch comprises of a Living area, Kitchenette, Teak Bar Counter and a Bathroom with a toilet, basin and shower.

• A second Self-Catering Rondavel comprises of an open-plan living / two sleeper studio with a Bathroom consisting of a toilet, basin and shower.

There is also a separate guide’s room with bathroom en-suite.

The Main Building comprises of three wings: Each wing has its own separate entrance, with two spacious bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Floors are finished in a honey-coloured quarry tile.

A large central living area is furnished with designer buffalo and zebra hide lounge suites. The bar has teak and zebra panels. A teak dining room suit seats 20 people.

A well-established landscaped garden with an outdoor entertainment area features a thatched gazebo and bar area with teak tables and classical canvas chairs. A bricked barbeque area is located in the proximity of a sparkling swimming pool.

In the evening, discreetly placed lighting, transforms the ambience of the lodge into a memorable location.

Behind the Scenes

• A spacious well designed and equipped kitchen, with a pantry and scullery is located in the Main Building.
• Independent office building situated close to the main gate.
• Separate staff toilet and shower facilities.
• Laundry complete with modern capacity washing machines.
• Undercover parking.
• Two store rooms
A water-purifying filter is fitted for drinking water.
• The perimeter wall is 2.5-metres in height. The main entrance gate is automated with an intercom system. Security measures required to keep wildlife out of the property are in place. (Elephants and Buffalo are known to stroll past the lodge).
• The stand is approximately two thousand square metres.
• The buildings cover a total of approximately 650 square metres.

***The Zimbabwe Investment Authority Licence pertaining to this lodge has once again just been renewed. This licence will facilitate any foreign buyer in obtaining a resident permit within Zimbabwe. This is a huge bonus for any potential buyer.
