From fly fishing to traditional angling you really must test your skill against this great aquatic acrobat. If you have yet to catch one, once you hook into one of these ferocious fighters your fishing days will never be the same again. But Tigerfish are not the only species here in fact there are over 75 fish species found inhabiting these waters.
The Victoria Falls area offers beautiful scenery to enjoy and appreciate while fishing. You will be taken on your trip by a guide, who has expert knowledge of the many species of fish available, as well as the wildlife, birds, and environment in general. There are no seasonal variations in the fish that are caught, but the best time for Tigerfish tends to be between August and March, as the water is at its warmest and the fish are more active. A catch-and-release policy is generally followed for all fish caught, but local taxidermy (including packaging and freight services) is available for trophy specimens.
