This tour is done together with the Tour of the Falls, after visiting the Victoria Falls you will be taken to the Traditional Craft Village. In the village you will have a chance to to replica homes of the various tribes throughout Zimbabwe and Southern Africa. The history of each tribe and how they have evolved will be explained during the tour. There will be local people in the village performing traditional skills such as carving, basket weaving and even cooking. You will be given the opportunity to shop in the adjoining curio market and shops for souvenirs and gifts. Trips run daily between 8.00 and 8.30 / 13.20 and 13.45 from all hotels in Victoria Falls Hotels and the duration is about three hours. If you are just wondering around the town of Victoria Falls the Craft Village is situated just behind the Post Office. If you don't feel that you would want to take the organised tour you are able to pay and visit the craft village on your own. You will have the same magical experience. It is well worth experiencing this mythical African side of Victoria Falls.
