Victoria Falls activities - What, Where, How and Who to do it with.

For the more sedate there is River cruises, elephant rides, rich local arts, crafts and cultural experiences, fishing, golf and game and safari adventures plus too many others to mention here...

In fact there is so much to do that it can get extremely confusing, especially when it comes to which tour operator to use, finding out if they reputable and if you will get what you paid for.

The majority of the major activities are run and owned by 3 large operators. These are Shearwater, Wild Horizons and Safari Par.

There are several smaller operators who run their own canoe trips, river cruises, transfers, safaris and fishing trips etc.

Each one of these operators book the activities of all the other operators, so it appears that they all own their own operations… quite confusing.

For example it may look like there are lots of different Bungee jumping companies, but in fact there is only one, but rather lots of companies booking it. There are however several different rafting companies so it is useful to know which ones you should use. 

We will only recommend Victoria Falls activities that we have done and operators that we trust and know will deliver what they say. That's the best part about this website for us, we get to test out all these wonderful activities.

Prices are fairly consistent across all the companies. They have obviously agreed not to undercut each other as a price war would cripple their businesses, you are going to pay approximately the same wherever you go.

Certain Special deals with accommodation and activities included can save you quite a bit of money.

The bigger operators also have special packages when three or more activities are booked.

Best idea is to send us a Enquiry Form detailing what you are interested in doing and we can then advise you what's the best package for you.

You can also look at Our Price List  for all activities which will give you some idea of what you can expect to pay. If you compare our price list to say that of Shearwater's prices list you will see that they are exactly the same. We don't add anything on.
