The Explorers Village has added to the list of the closest accommodation options to the Victoria Falls Rainforest. Tucked away just behind Elephant's Walk Shopping Mall, the village is easily accessible from the town centre. It's location is great for those who really want to do some exploring (as the name suggest), without spending much on taxis and transfers. It is easy to access the Falls, the town's restaurants and shopping areas, as well as activities in the area.

In this image slideshow, you see the kind of quality offerings at the Explorers Village. The thatched accommodation in the chalets are simple and elegant, and offer real value for money. You will see that they have en-suite bathrooms. The tents are clean, and cater to your basic requirements.

If you don't feel like cooking, or going anywhere else to eat, the dining area/restaurant offers quality food including traditional meals and delicious drinks at the bar. There are no televisions in the rooms, but you can watch in the lounge area or the restaurant.

Our Opinion

In our opinion, this Victoria Falls accommodation option is in a great location and has real potential for popularity among the younger visitors to the Falls. Of-course it is not the only option in it's price range, but the quality of the facilities and chalets puts it a cut above the rest. Hence, the chalets are great value for money.
