Samanzi is the third and newest member of the Shongwe Selection, and from the moment you arrive, you'll feel wrapped in pure luxury. Cascading pools and gentle flowing rivers create a tranquil atmosphere throughout the lodge. Each of the 15 beautifully designed cabanas overlooks one of six sparkling swimming pools, complete with private sunbathing decks.

Samanzi features nine enchanting waterfalls, a swim-up bar, a campfire island, a bar-side jacuzzi, and exclusive underground wine cellars - every detail thoughtfully crafted to offer an extraordinary experience.

Guests are welcome to visit Shongwe Lookout, located right next door, where you can enjoy soothing massages and a full range of spa treatments. The iconic Shongwe Tower is also available to Samanzi guests, providing the perfect spot to savour a cocktail while taking in sweeping views of the Victoria Falls spray and the distant Zambezi River.

Our Opinion

Samanzi is undoubtedly one of the most luxurious and exotic lodges in Victoria Falls. Its relaxed, barefoot elegance blends perfectly with the easy-going spirit of the town. The location is excellent - only 2 km from the town centre - and the rooms are beautifully positioned, though guests should note that sunbathing decks offer limited privacy.
