Introduction

Rebuilt and opened in April 2015 Bayete Lodge is an owner run and managed lodge situated in the residential area of Victoria Falls, approximately 2.6kms from the town centre and 3.6kms from the Victoria Falls entrance. In a secluded location, behind high walls, the feeling as you walk into the reception area past a fantastic water feature is one of a friendly oasis.

The lush, green gardens surrounding the bar, pool and entertainment area seem to engulf the rooms and family cottage, whilst at the same time give a feeling of space and seclusion.

The rooms at Bayete Guest Lodge are clean and trendy, incorporating some very clever recycled artefacts (old Batonka doors painted white, for example) stand boldly out on the neutral coloured walls as head boards). White linen with splashes of colour in the throws add beautifully to the whole effect. The bathrooms are modern with walk in showers.

The family cottage, located in the tropical gardens is very comfortable and offers great practical family accommodation.

Besides the Family cottage, there are two room types available, Executive and Standard. The Executive rooms are larger than the Standard Rooms. The Standard rooms are also high quality, and these are situated at the rear of the lodge.

There is a funky “Lobengula Room” where the interior designers have been allowed some poetic license, possibly not everyone’s taste, but for those wanting a room with a difference this could be a fun alternative in décor.

The main swimming pool, bar and eating area is the focal point of Bayete Guest Lodge. It includes a braai area and a wood fired Pizza oven. These large entertainment areas make it the ideal location for large functions, like weddings and family reunions.

Our Opinion

Guests will find Bayete’s staff friendly and an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity - lots of space and flexibility make it the perfect accommodation choice to enjoy and celebrate any occasion or vacation.

We highly recommend Bayete to all guests – wanting a friendly, well priced lodge to enjoy the Falls. Suitable for couples, families and larger groups.
