Introduction

The N1 Hotel was established in 2010 for clean and affordable accommodation in Victoria Falls. Refurbished in late 2015, the hotel has a fresh look and now caters for both budget travellers and campers. Its location is within walking distance of the Victoria Falls on one side, and the town centre on the other side. It is adjacent to one of the curio markets, and faces the Elephant's Walk Shopping Mall, with other curio shops, banks, and postal services within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It is a 1.1km distance from the Victoria Falls entrance.

The hotel is does have a motel look with minimal amenities but also tea and coffee making facilities in each room. All rooms have double beds - twin rooms are still to be added. The bathrooms are smart, and have showers and washbasin only. The superior room has the most space, and the bathroom has a washbasin and both a tub and shower.

The new campsite at N1 Hotel offers campers a pleasant experience on soft green manicured lawns, with lighting, power sockets and a small barbecue grill at each point. The entertainment area of the hotel is located on the campsite grounds. There, campers and hotel guests can relax and watch television, cool off in the sparkling swimming pool, or have a braai on the larger grill next to the pool. The ablution facilities are clean, with showers and shaving sockets in the men's block. The campsite has wheelchair friendly.

Our Opinion
The N1 campsite is a great new addition to Victoria Falls town. If you are looking for budget accommodation, the hotel does provide comfortable lodging with the very basic provisions.

There aren't any facilities for cooking apart from the braai stands which are in the camping area. However, guests can eat at any of the restaurants in town such as the Africa Cafe and Nam Took which are in the Elephants Walk Mall near the hotel, or the ones a little further such as Ilala Lodge's The Palm, the various eating places at the Victoria Falls Hotel or Kingdom Hotel, the Shearwater Cafe, Lola's Tapas & Bar or Mama Africa Eating House. For a full list of restaurants, click here. For alternative dining options, contact us.

The location of N1 Hotel Victoria Falls in relation to distance to other services and attractions in town is favourable. However, during the busy season, you may find the curio sellers right by the entrance, and they can be persistent. The campsite is fenced and quite safe. Gates are locked at night, and there is electric fencing to keep the monkeys and baboons out.

Fantastic Itinerary
by Graham & Janet (United Kingdom)
Dear Boo
We would like to offer our thanks for sorting a fantastic itinerary for our all too short visit to Vic Falls. The cruise on the Zambesi at sunset was a delight and the helicopter flight breathtaking! The pick ups were punctual and staff members were all very smiley, friendly, helpful and good company. The whole experience of the actual Falls and the town itself was outstanding.
We will return! Your company will be our first port of call. Many thanks for a very efficient service.
Best wishes
