The Zambezi Queen gallery gives you a peek at life on the Chobe River - the landscape and scenery, the luxurious rooms and facilities aboard the vessel, and the kind of activities that can be enjoyed during your stay.

This more exquisite Chobe houseboat option is part of the same collection as the Chobe Princesses. The Zambezi Queen traverses a 25km section of the Chobe River, in a more private area of the river between Namibia and Botswana. The Chobe National Park can be seen on one side of the river, while the Namibian wilderness is witnessed on the other side. This is elephant country, and the birdlife in this area is phenomenal. There is plenty of other animals to be seen as well.

Our Opinion

A stay on-board Zambezi Queen is a different kind of safari. It’s the kind where you get to decide if you want to be up with the birds, or prefer to laze all morning watching game from the comfort of your bed. The itinerary is flexible so while there are a range of activities on offer, you can choose just how much you want to pack into your holiday or how relaxed you want to be. The houseboat offers 2 and 3 night itineraries, as well as 4 night sailing dates in December.
