Victoria Falls a quaint tourist town situated right next to the mighty Victoria Falls, in Zimbabwe. This town has developed for one reason and one reason only – Tourists.

As a result there is a wide range of hotels and lodges, bed and breakfast, self catering and camping to look at. What ever your budget is, there will certainly be something to suit you.

We feel that the most important thing to think about when choosing your accommodation on any trip you make is “The Experience” that you want. What we mean by this is – Do you want a big resort type hotel or a small personal experience. – Do you want an African game experience or do you want to be in the town within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and bars.

Before booking your Victoria Falls accommodation our advice to you would be to check out the size of the hotel/lodge and of course as the saying goes location, location, location.

Don’t forget that as well as the Victoria Falls this area is home to some fantastic wildlife you might also want to take this into account when deciding on where to stay.

We would like to point out that in Victoria Falls area there really is no specific difference between a hotel or lodge, only that Victoria Falls lodges are mostly thatched. Therefore don’t let the name influence your decision.

The airport is about 22kms out the town but an airport transfer can be arranged when you make your accommodation booking, which will ensure that you get there and back safely, as it is a long walk and there are wild animals around.

It has a great open air curio market and various booking agents for the wide range of activities to do whilst in the area.
